Ryan Anderson, owner of the TREASURE CHEST in Orange Beach, Alabama, is the author of The Czech Files , a fictional crime thriller/murder mystery that takes place in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Czech Files was published in the fall of 2007. Her second novel,
The Artist , was published in the spring of 2008. The Artist, which features many of the same main characters in The Czech Files is also a fictional crime thriller based on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Ryan's experience and knowledge of the Gulf Coast area has provided a unique and enchanting visual to any reader, especially those who are familiar with the Gulf Coast.
Born into an artistic environment, Ryan Anderson has been painting since she was able to hold a paintbrush in her hand. After growing up in a small town in Alabama, Ryan moved to the Gulf Coast where her artistic talent continued to grow into a business. After spending a year abroad in Europe, Ryan returned to the United States and continued practicing her passion and love for all aspects of art. In 2002 Ryan moved to North Carolina and grew in the arts community of Charlotte, while traveling extensively throughout the Caribbean where she was involved in various artistic endeavors. You can see and purchase many of her creations at the TREASURE CHEST, including her novels, handmade jewelry, handpainted art and decorations, quilts, and knitted garments.
